A trip to the desert

Last Saturday Ambree wanted to take her "buddy" (little cabbage patch) outside with us. I had Revery in his sling, so I made Ambree a sling so we could match. Then we had a very crazy adventure over the hill. Unfortunately they have destroyed the beautiful palouse hill right by our house. They have leveled the hill clear to Palouse River Drive. I don't think we were suppose to be down there, but we were just walking. Ambree loved it! All the tractors were lined up and she said, "I want to ride." It was very hot that day and it almost felt like we were in a desert. We walked around the entire area and she carried her doll in the sling the whole time. Buddy, the doll only fell out once. My Buddy, Revery did not fall out at all thank goodness! These are the crazy things I do being left with two kids and no car!

Friends?

Ambree loves her brother . . . sometimes a little too much.
She has been much better with him lately.

I do not want Revery to grow up too fast, but I can't wait until he can play with Ambree.
Or at least get a little more sturdy to survive his loving sister.

Nature Shots

I saw a series of nature photos in the Pottery Barn Magazine and thought I could give it a try (less expensive this way). We took them yesterday, it was a great Sunday activity. These are a few of my favorite ones. See what you think?

STUCK

Do you ever feel as though you are stuck in a rut and you can’t get out? Sometimes we need some help from others to get us out of a hole we have made ourselves. All we need to do is yell for help!. . . but some people just do not learn.

The AmberKid

This is the AmberKid with Side Kick Cheeky Monkey by her side at Tiempo Commons Monday September 1, 2008. Together they are an unstoppable duo fighting bad mortgage rates and awarding houses to the little man. She states, “Every child deserves a yard to run in and the chance to scream in their own house without their mother saying quiet the neighbors will hear you. I mean I am 2 ½ how quiet can I be? I feel like a caged dog, maybe if I had more space I won't be so CRAZY all the time!”

I wish I could take the credit for this awesome cape, but Katelyn Foutch made it. (I picked out the fabric at least) It is so cute and Ambree loves it to death (She thinks Daddy made it . . . she knows Mama is not capable of making something like that). It turned out great, Thanks Katelyn!

They grow up too fast

Don't you dare blink or you might miss something! It is hard to remember all the sweet cute things they do everyday. I love the technology we have to capture those precious memories forever. He is growing up so fast. Poor Revery, he is suffering for the 2nd child syndrome already due to the lack of pictures. I need to be more aware of it.

Hey Mack!

Hey Mack, working hard or hardly working!

August Vacation

This was the first ride all by herself. I was so nervous, but she did so well. She was even able to make the airplane go up and down. Too cute for words!
Ambree had so much fun at Silverwood, especially with her Papa! She even went on the raft ride.
It was so hot that even Revery had to take a dip. He usually cries, but he was so hot that he did not mind.
Priest Lake is so beautiful. We had a blast picking huckleberries and then going swimming. The water was so refreshing on that very hot day. I love how clean it is. Some day I would love to have a cabin on the lake.
Ambree kept hitting her poor little hippo, but it was freaking hilarious.
We love Papa's Cabin. It is so relaxing here.

My Little Critter

You have a caterpillar on your nose!

You are so squeezable!

I love this Little Critter! He is the sweetest little baby and so happy all the time. He has been smiling and cooing from the very beginning.
