Nine years later and four beautiful children. Life never seems to slows down. I have two jobs; working as a Labor and Delivery nurse and a mom.

We Are So Glad Our Papa is Here!

Our Papa joined Nana in April, now that he is settled we are putting him to work.
Thanks Dad for my cute bench! You are amazing! I love it!
So do the kids!
The kids helped me plant these tulips a couple of weeks ago, and they are finally blooming!

g-diapers

g stands for. . . . .green, grow, genuine, global, genius, grace, generous, golly gee, glee, gorgeous, garden, groovy, grand, glow, goo goo, gem, giggle, gaily, gentle, grateful, ga ga, good, glimmer, and giddy.
I have wanted to try cloth diapers since Ambree, but being a working mom I decided against it. Then with Revery, I thought I can't do cloth diapers until I have a new washer and dryer. Well, our washer died at Christmas, so I HAD to get the electrolux set I had be eyeballing for months. I hate when that happens! Now that we have two critters in diapers we added up how much we were spending on diapers in a month. It was over $100 just on newborn diapers. So we decided to take the plunge! (With 3 kids under 4 I have so much spare time to do extra laundry, right?)

Check out http://www.gdiapers.com/gdiapers101 for more info on gdiapers. It is a big investment up front, but I am so excited about the money we will save, plus helping out old Mother Earth isn't too shabby either! Happy early Earth Day! (April 22)

Here are my little 'g' boys!
When I first put these on Rev I laughed my guts out, because I thought he looked like Mowgli (Jungle book).
I love this bright blue! My Canon in 'g'.
After a week, I think I have a system down, so it isn't too bad.
Aren't they cute?

Canon in D

Pachelbel's Canon is a complex work which merges several distinct forms of music. The canon is a polyphonic form in which several voices play the same music, only enter one by one, each after a delay. In Pachelbel's piece, there are three voices engaged in canon

can·on [kan-uhn] –noun

2. the body of ecclesiastical law
3. the body of rules, principles, or standards accepted as axiomatic and universally binding in a field of study or art
7. any officially recognized set of sacred books
13. consistent, note-for-note imitation of one melodic line by another, in which the second line starts after the first.

"There Isn't A Word Yet, For Old Friends Who Just Met"

Big Brother Revery! They are going to be the best buddies! I can't believe how much Revery loves him already. He wants to hold him all the time and insists he has his binky. He looks at him in the bassinet and says, "Peek-a-boo."
Big Sister Ambree! I don't think she realizes that she is out numbered now. She is very helpful and loves to nuzzle him.
Ambree said were where a full family now.
It definitely feels that way.
We feel so blessed to have another beautiful healthy baby in our lives. Let the adventures begin!

Ambree's Golden Birthday!

Ambree turned 4 on March 4th. Ambree is so grown up, I can't believe it!
She is becoming so helpful around the house. She unloads the dishes, helps with the laundry, and is very good at entertaining Revery.
We celebrated on Sunday (28) because we figured we would be having a baby any day. Good thing we did. I am just so relieved that they don't have the same exact birthday.
Daddy made her a beautiful butterfly cake.Brother helped her unwrap. I made her the cutest apron, but she wouldn't try it on. I will post a picture later.
She absolutely loves the camera that Nana and Aunt Lindsey got for her. She has already taken over 700 pictures.
She is such a beautiful fun girl. She makes us laugh everyday. She has a wonderful imagination and so creative. Though at times she can be very naughty, I would not trade her for anything. Love ya, sweetie!

Old Friend Found

In the early Spring I love to read/watch the Jane Austen books/movies. I think it is because I would love to visit England in the Spring someday. I would not consider myself a romantic, but I love the classics. My new found old friend PBS (pbs.org) has so kindly helped me with that this year. I have enjoyed watching Masterpiece classic these last few weeks. Check it out.

PBS also has some other wonderful programs available online. If you lack cable like me, check it out!

I know That My Savior Loves Me

Take ONE

Take TWO

Jayson is still teaching the CTR 6 class, I am in the Primary Presidency of our massive ward as 1st counselor, and now this Jan. Ambree joined us in Primary (I feel like I just got rid of Revery to Nursery). She is the cutest little Sunbeam. She is singing the new song for the year, "I know that My Savior Loves Me." A very beautiful song. When we were learning it in Primary I could only hear the chorister's voice, mine, Nana's, and Ambree's. She belts it out, and frankly it is hard not to laugh. It makes you feel good when your children wander the house singing songs about Jesus, I guess we doing a few things right!

Here is the link to the song:

Enjoy!

Oh, and do you love how Rev is trying to steal the spotlight! He has to copy everything Sister is doing.

House Guest

We had a house guest while Nana did some training for her new job.
They called this, "The Tucker Train."
They love playing "puppies" and basically did it constantly while Tucker the Dog was here. Unfortunately Rev even ate some of her doggie food, they kind of look like cereal so how could you blame him?
