A Big Fun Day!

My Mom came to spoil Revery for his Birthday (and Ambree too). We had such a great time while she was here. She got a bunch of outside toys for them. Thanks for everything Mom! The weather was great. One day we enjoyed the splash park down the street.
Ambree was a little timid at first, which is strange for her. She is a Little Mermaid! I had give her a little push.
Then she realized how fun it was to be inside the "crown."
I thought this was cool that I got the rainbow in the picture! I kept telling her to go the other way so I could get her face, but she didn't get it (like 8 times).
The weather has been great. I can't believe it is only May. We are loving Meridian, especially in the Summer! Our neighborhood is amazing and so beautiful and friendly. We love taking walks and hitting all the pocket parks!

Mother I Love You, Mother I Do . . .

The perfect day! Started with breakfast in bed with a poem entitled, To a Mom Who Never Quits, that of course made me cry. This is the gorgeous Apron from Jayson. Now that I am a stay at home mother I need proper uniforms!
At church the primary sang mother I love you and Ambree made me the cutest little flower.
After church we had naps--gotta love a Sunday nap! Then we went for a lovely walk. We had Tacos and smoothies when we came back. Being a mother is difficult at times (especially if you know Ambree).
Yet, these little people have given me the greatest joy imaginable and for that, everyday is blessing.
Thank you for a beautiful day.

Side note: Ambree asked me if my apron was a dress.
Mom: "No, it is actually called an apron. If I wore this to church my bottom would show."
Ambree: "I know, you could just sit in a chair, then your butt would not show."

Ambree's New Trick

"Mom, look what my eyes can do."
"One, two, three mommies"
This girl makes me laugh so hard. We have been so crazy lately . . . lots of giggling!

Simple Finds Winner!

Doing some crazy blogging I entered several giveaways on http://www.simple-finds.com/ and other sites.
A few days later I was notified that I won! I had my choice of any of the Eleven shoes!
I picked the adorable "Laura" shoe for Ambree. (Retail $50) Oh Yeah!
(See Kai Run sizes are for infant/toddlers, otherwise I would have gotten some for Rev).
Thank you Simple Finds! Check out their site!

Christ the Lord is Risen Today

Wake up! It's Easter! We woke up early to take Daddy to work.
Time to get ready for Church!
Adorable little friends.
"I am a Dapper Dan Man, gosh dang it"
We were on time to church, despite Mommy getting both kids ready, herself, and taking a few shots before church.
We are tired, cranky, and hungry from three hours of Church. Can we have our naps now?
I just thought they were so cute in their outfits and Ambree's hair was not going to last through a nap that I had to snap a few more.
What a gorgeous Easter Day! We could not have asked for better weather to remember the Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our hearts are full of love and joy for the beautiful gift that Jesus gave to us. We are grateful that we can live together forever through him. We strive to stand by Jesus at all times and in all places.
Dinner Time! My first Easter dinner made entirely by myself.
He was a good little scavenger, but he was sticking entire eggs in his mouth.
It only took me like 3 hours to find a top that would match their outfits!
Ambree found the Gold egg and Revery found the Silver egg.
What a great day, lets end with a little dessert.

Easter Preliminaries

Ambree did such a great job coloring eggs, she did not even make a mess.
More of our blossoms.
I love how these eggs turned out.
Bright, Bold, Beautiful!
I love continuing childhood traditions with my children. Every Easter Mom would put our hair in sponge curlers (until we could do it ourselves). Usually while watching Benhur. She needed Three hours to roll four heads in curlers!

Ready for a Stroll?

Rev is holding a chicken leg and a ball, what else does a boy need while sitting in a pink doll stroller?
Ready for a ride?
He has no choice but to accept her kiss, he is strapped in.

Ambree was actually going slow in this video compared to the strolls before this. Luckily, Buddy was not injury during the making of this film.
