Oh my gosh! What the Heck!

I turned on a movie for Ambree upstairs so I could finish dinner dishes.

This is what I found. . .10 minutes later in my bathroom.
And this. . .
And the Culprit. . . with make-up all over her face.
All the contents of my two bathroom drawers opened, dripping, and dumped in the sink covered with foundation.

To bed early, grounded, and a spanking should do the trick.

This happened several days ago, I had to blow off a lot of steam. After 1.5 hours of cleaning I managed to salvage most of my bathroom products. The father arrived home just in time to save this naughty little child's life.

Happy Valentine's Day . . .From The Naked BABY (aka Cupid)

Little Cupid
Ambree saw me making one of these last night for the person I visit teach and said she wanted one. I told her that The Naked Baby would probably be bringing her a treat, so she would have to wait until tomorrow.
Valentine Goodies. Just as I had suspected The Naked Baby did bring her a treat box.
Goodies for the Buddy

We hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with lots of love and hugs!

The Family is of God

Jayson and I were called to teach CTR 6 two weeks ago. We were both very overwhelmed to receive this calling especially with our young children. After one week, I realized how important this calling is to us and to the children. This is such an impressionable age when learning these basic principles is so important. I am excited to teach for as I watch through their eyes the gospel principles understood, I too am reminded when I first heard these truths. Then the joy of the gospel has revisited me. The preparation and sacrifice is worth it all.

One of the songs we are learning for the program this year is The Family is of God; it is a new song so if you are not in the primary you probably have not heard it. It is so cute and I have had it stuck in my head for the last two weeks. The link below is to the church site that has all the primary program songs for 2009. Our primary made CDs with all the songs so the children could listen to them in the car. I thought that was a great idea.

Happy Ground Hog Day

One day we looked outside and there was a large hole in our complete flat, freshly laid lawn. Ambree had been out playing, but she did not do it. We concluded it must be a groundhog and Jayson was bound to get rid of the intruder. It took some persuasion, but Jayson made a gum and peanut butter sandwich for the poor fellow. He closed up the hole and we have not seen a sign of him since!
