Simple Finds Winner!

Doing some crazy blogging I entered several giveaways on http://www.simple-finds.com/ and other sites.
A few days later I was notified that I won! I had my choice of any of the Eleven shoes!
I picked the adorable "Laura" shoe for Ambree. (Retail $50) Oh Yeah!
(See Kai Run sizes are for infant/toddlers, otherwise I would have gotten some for Rev).
Thank you Simple Finds! Check out their site!

Christ the Lord is Risen Today

Wake up! It's Easter! We woke up early to take Daddy to work.
Time to get ready for Church!
Adorable little friends.
"I am a Dapper Dan Man, gosh dang it"
We were on time to church, despite Mommy getting both kids ready, herself, and taking a few shots before church.
We are tired, cranky, and hungry from three hours of Church. Can we have our naps now?
I just thought they were so cute in their outfits and Ambree's hair was not going to last through a nap that I had to snap a few more.
What a gorgeous Easter Day! We could not have asked for better weather to remember the Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our hearts are full of love and joy for the beautiful gift that Jesus gave to us. We are grateful that we can live together forever through him. We strive to stand by Jesus at all times and in all places.
Dinner Time! My first Easter dinner made entirely by myself.
He was a good little scavenger, but he was sticking entire eggs in his mouth.
It only took me like 3 hours to find a top that would match their outfits!
Ambree found the Gold egg and Revery found the Silver egg.
What a great day, lets end with a little dessert.

Easter Preliminaries

Ambree did such a great job coloring eggs, she did not even make a mess.
More of our blossoms.
I love how these eggs turned out.
Bright, Bold, Beautiful!
I love continuing childhood traditions with my children. Every Easter Mom would put our hair in sponge curlers (until we could do it ourselves). Usually while watching Benhur. She needed Three hours to roll four heads in curlers!

Ready for a Stroll?

Rev is holding a chicken leg and a ball, what else does a boy need while sitting in a pink doll stroller?
Ready for a ride?
He has no choice but to accept her kiss, he is strapped in.

Ambree was actually going slow in this video compared to the strolls before this. Luckily, Buddy was not injury during the making of this film.

Projects Galore

I have been doing home preschool with Ambree.
This is the poster I made for her.
Weather, days, months, and numbers.
Here is the craft I made for pay it forward.
Wrapped wire, Fabric, clothes pins, and buttons.
It is an art hanger.
This is a great idea for quiet books. I copied a magazine cover, laminated, and cut out the pieces.
Then I took a folder and laminated the magazine cover (love land of nod artwork) to it. Added paper to side.
Then used velcro to attach pieces. The folder pocket stores the pieces.
A very inexpensive project.
Best part. . . Ambree sits so quietly during Church!
We had a Relief Society service auction. I made a frame with their color choices. I thought it turned out great. I won a chore of my choice. She is going to help me paint Ambree's room.

Discovery Center

Grandma and Grandpa took us to the Discovery Center in Boise this last weekend. Ambree had a blast.
Ambree comparing prices, a very frugal shopper.
Yummy Bread
mmm. . .what else do I need?
I don't know what this is, but it is cool!
Grandma and Ambree playing in the bubbles.
She loved the robots. With the help of Daddy they were able to pick up one of the balls with the robot hand.
She made it all the way up to the top
Another robot. She said, "where is his hand?"
